Don Moen's REVIVAL Concert

Last april 11th, we had the chance to listen to Don Moen's songs live at the U.S.P. Open Grounds in Lahug, Cebu City. It was really a good experience. I can't fully describe how I felt that night but I've been crying for almost the whole run of the concert. Tears of happiness would be a good guess. I felt so happy that I'm sharing this experience with my husband, that we both agreed to buy tickets to the show. Well, I really would have wanted to watch in the front row but I have compromised to buy the general admission tickets since this is more or less out of our budget. Anyways, front row or not, we still felt God's presence that night. I felt so happy and blessed that me and my husband are one in rejoicing and praising God.

What's the new normal these days? This got me thinking today, and I thought I should make a list. 1. Wearing Masks. Obviously, it's still COVID season, and there's even talks that this virus is here to stay. So definitely, even as we ease into a general community quarantine setting, face masks should already be part of our wardrobe. 2. Social Distancing. How close can we get to each other? Not too close anymore if we don't want to risk ourselves from getting infected from asymptomatic individuals. 3. Work from Home. I'm not sure how many of us can get back to working from traditional work setting but most employers are already looking into this work-from-home setup, especially if commuting to get to their workplace is still a challenge for the employees. 4. Staying at Home. With the non-availability of vaccines for COVID yet, more people would opt to stay at home (even if they're already allowed to) if they have no business with the outside world. 5.

his eyeglasses as a necessary expense

As far as I can remember, my husband has been wearing prescription glasses ever since the first day I saw him in the same office we were working before. Some people who would talk about him would actually refer to him as the "guy with eyeglasses" when they would forget his name but I must say, though, that even then, I already knew there's something more to him than just being that "guy wearing eyeglasses". I guess it just can't be helped that his eyeglasses are already part of his personality. He's been wearing them since college. More importantly, he just can't leave the house, face the computer, or read books without them. Incidentally, some time this year, he said goodbye to his old pair and bought a new one. We thought it could last for another year before he would be able to buy his next one. happy wife = happy life

Earlier today, we debated on what to eat for breakfast. The husband decided to cook boiled eggs, but I was craving for scrambled eggs with sliced tomatoes. He objected and insisted on boiled eggs because it is healthier, and that we should limit our intake of "fried" or "oily" foods. I said " No, I want it scrambled " but he keeps insisting "boiled" (he's the cook, anyway). So, I really thought l lost the battle until he called me for breakfast. 🙂
